The show was relaunched as Guiding Light, a CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. Her film debut came with a small character on the show in Girl 6 (1996) then was featured in several episodes of New York Undercover and The District. Navedo was as a character in Double Take, an action-comedy film that debuted in 2001. The drama Washington Heights was released the next year. Navedo was the character Detective Ana Cordova in the NBC program Law & Order from 2001 to 2004. Later he starred as Detective Ana Cordova in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages. Navedo appeared in a number of films, including El Cantante (The Cantante) as well as Remember Me. Navedo made an appearance on How to Make It in America Golden Boy, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit from 2011 until 2013, as well. Superfast! was her first film. The mockumentary of The Fast and the Furious movie series that debuted in the year 2015. Navedo began her professional acting career in the world of daytime soap operas.
