The show was relaunched as Guiding Light, a CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. Her film debut came with a small character on the show in Girl 6 (1996) then was featured in several episodes of New York Undercover and The District. Navedo was as a character in Double Take, an action-comedy film that debuted in 2001. The drama Washington Heights was released the next year. Navedo was the character Detective Ana Cordova in the NBC program Law & Order from 2001 to 2004. Later he starred as Detective Ana Cordova in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages. Navedo appeared in a number of films, including El Cantante (The Cantante) as well as Remember Me. Navedo made an appearance on How to Make It in America Golden Boy, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit from 2011 until 2013, as well. Superfast! was her first film.
